A Forever Bond: The Journey of the Humboldt Penguins from Peru–Chile Becomes a New Story at BXSea

BXSEA proudly announces the official launch of its newest journey, titled “A FOREVER BOND”, on Friday, 17 October 2025. This story invites guests to witness the incredible journey taken by the Humboldt Penguins, sourced from Peru and Chile, now becoming a symbolic new chapter for Indonesia’s aquarium world.

We are delighted to welcome three beloved penguins from Peru through Surabaya and another seven from Chile. Their arrival marks a beautiful harmony between international cooperation and wildlife preservation. Together with our trusted partners, these penguins are now part of the BXSEA family and a key attraction in our conservation journey.

The story deeply resonates with our mission and campaign, Protecting Our Living Ocean. Through this campaign, BXSEA aims to inspire visitors to care more for marine life and to support education about environmental sustainability through meaningful experiences.

As part of this launch celebration, BXSEA also presented two exciting side events: a conservation-focused talkshow and a family-friendly penguin trophy challenge. These activities were designed to be educational, interactive, and inspiring for all age groups.

The talkshow featured experts and practitioners who shared valuable perspectives on breeding conservation efforts and habitat restoration. Through this forum, participants learned how collaborative action can support threatened species and help restore fragile ecosystems.
